Rainy Day Recruiter - Med Surge Registered Nurse

Our client, a leading healthcare provider in Sanford, FL, is seeking a Med/Surge RN to join their team on a full-time basis as a permanent addition to a collaborative staff.

Compensation Details:

• Relocation will be considered for the right candidate.
• Hourly rate ranges from $29 per hour to $42 per hour depending on experience.
• Shift Differentials are $4.50 for nights and $1.50 for weekends
• Will be paid on an annual salary basis as a direct-hire.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments.

Qualifications:

• Must have RECENT (WITHIN THE LAST YEAR OR TWO) ACUTE CARE MED-SURG EXPERIENCE. Would be Open to PCU/CVICU/ICU acute experience.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting
• Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
